Lauryn Hill brings her Artist in Residence Tour to Vancouver this week.

This is Hill’s first appearance in town since The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill 25th Anniversary Tour in 2023. That show at Rogers Arena on Nov. 12 also marked the return of Hill’s former group the Fugees, minus member Pras Michel, who was unable to tour due to legal proceedings.

That performance proved to be a fun, if somewhat disjointed, tour across Hill’s highly influential recordings.

The Artist in Residence Tour isn’t preceded by any new music, so fans can expect to hear Hill dropping unique versions of her past hits. The singer is also likely to add in some very carefully chosen cover tunes from her lengthy collaboration catalogue.
