New York City mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani said he believes that President Donald Trump is a 'fascist' and 'despot' but what changed after his first meeting with the president is that he thinks there is an opportunity to work together for New Yorkers. Their bonhomie as displayed in the Oval Office meeting where Trump, in fact, encouraged Mamdani to call him a 'fascist' does not make them friends but Mamdani says he can work with the President. “I’m not coming into the Oval Office to make a point or make a stand.
