NEW DELHI: An Indigo plane flying from Mumbai sustained damage due to a bird strike on the runway at Jolly Grant Airport, located near Rishikesh in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. All 186 passengers aboard remained unharmed during the incident. The event took place at 6.45 pm when the nose of Indigo flight IGO 5032 collided with a bird on the runway, as reported by PTI. Airport personnel performed a comprehensive inspection and safety assessment of the runway following the incident. (More details to follow)
