BUFFALO, N.Y. — Buffalo Police are investigating a shooting that left one person dead Saturday night.
According to a spokesperson for the Buffalo Police Department, the shooting happened shortly before 9:45 p.m. in a parking lot near the intersection of Niagara and Farmer Streets.

A male victim, who was sitting inside a parked vehicle, was shot several times in the upper body. He was later pronounced dead at the scene. Based on preliminary findings, investigators believe the shooting was targeted.
