SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane Police Department (SPD) confirmed Sunday with KREM2 News that the investigation involving the founder of Giving Back Spokane Rick Clark alleged to have embezzled funds, has been closed.
Clark announced on his Facebook page on Saturday that the investigation had come to an end. He reassures that donors can be confident their funds are being used properly.
"The Spokane Police Dept. has now finished their complete investigation and they have deemed there to be no evidence of any wrongdoing on my part," said Clark in his Facebook post. "There will be no charges filed and this case will be closed. They made it clear to me during the course of this investigation they had never seen a case quite like this.
