A brand new BBC drama based on an "extraordinary" real-life story made its debut on Sunday, November 23 and viewers were quick to react.
Prisoner 951 puts the spotlight on Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe , a British-Iranian citizen who was imprisoned and held hostage by the Iranian state for six years, and her husband Richard Ratcliffe, who campaigned for justice and her return.
The four-part factual drama stars Gangs of London actor Narges Rashidi as Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe, while Joseph Fiennes , known for The Handmaid’s Tale, takes on the role of her husband, Richard Ratcliffe.
