BAXTER — Visit Brainerd is getting a rebranding for 2026 and becoming Visit Brainerd Baxter.
Mary Divine Johnson, Visit Brainerd executive director, presented the marketing plan to the Baxter City Council Tuesday, Nov. 18.
Johnson said the rebranding was the result of strategic planning and spoke of it as creating an identity as the gateway to the lakes area with Baxter being the anchor there and talking about that experience differently. She said the conversation for the future is how the community can develop assets to put it in the landscape for meetings and sports that could take the area to the next level as a destination.
