ARLINGTON, TEXAS — The Philadelphia Eagles suffered an injury to a defensive starter against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night at AT&T Stadium.
Eagles cornerback Adoree’ Jackson exited the game in the third quarter and entered concussion protocol.
Jackson, one of the Eagles’ starting outside corners in nickel and dime sets, entered the blue medical tent on the sideline after leaving the field.
The NFL’s independent concussion spotter was also in the medical tent with the 30-year-old defensive back.
When Jackson exited, the Eagles moved Cooper DeJean from the slot to the outside and inserted Michael Carter II as the nickel corner.
Philadelphia acquired Carter ahead of the NFL trade deadline. The Eagles sent receiver John Metchie III and a 2027 sixth-round pick to the Jets for Cart
