An assault with weapons brandished occurred at an off-campus party in Murray early Saturday, and Murray Police are investigating.
Four males are reported to have assaulted a single victim at the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity house on South 16th Street; reportedly, a pair of firearms was shown. Witnesses said one of the guns was used to hit the victim. The four male suspects are said to have left the area in a white SUV. Police have preliminary descriptions of those suspects and are continuing to investigate.
Campus Police issued a statement informing students that they do not believe there is an ongoing threat to the community. They offered a list of precautionary measures for students. They said if anyone has information about the incident, to call the Murray Police Department at 270-753-16
