KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Across Knoxville on Sunday, bikers took part in a national bike ride that is part scavenger hunt and part food drive — "Cranksgiving."
For the event, teams of riders visited grocery stores across Knoxville to collect food items that all went to benefit Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee.
Cranksgiving was hosted by Two Bikes and was held from 1 to 5 p.m. at Schultz Bräu.
"My favorite part about this is ... knowing that we're doing great work for the community — we're doing our part to ensure that families don't go hungry."
