LAS VEGAS — When Shedeur Sanders hit rookie receiver Isaiah Bond with a 52-yard pass on third-and-8 towards the end of the 1Q, the cameras caught Browns star edge rusher Myles Garrett with an awestruck expression.

Mouth agape, one hand on his head, Garrett chest bumped Isaiah McGuire on the sideline after the play, just before rookie RB Quinshon Judkins scored a 2-yard touchdown on a direct snap.

But that awestruck expression could have easily been Sanders’ about this Browns defense on Sunday, as they dominated a weird game in the rookie QB’s first career start.
