SPOKANE, Wash. -- Maple Street is closed off at West Boone Avenue in Spokane's West Central neighborhood due to a shooting in the area.

Spokane Police says there is currently no information on any injuries related to this incident. There is also no information on the people involved in the shooting.

SPD is asking the public to avoid the area.
