3 families displaced, multiple units damaged in Bargersville apartment fire

BARGERSVILLE, Ind. — A fire at a Bargersville apartment complex Saturday night is currently under investigation.

According to the Bargersville Community Fire Department, around 4:10 p.m. on Nov. 22 firefighters were called to the 3200 block of Hartshire South Drive on a report of an apartment fire.

When firefighters arrived, they reportedly saw light smoke coming from the front of the structure and heavy smoke conditions inside.

After making sure all occupants were out of the building, firefighters began an immediate attack. Eventually, firefighters were able to contain the fire to the original unit and marked the fire out around 4:23 p.m.

Officials say three families were displaced and multiple apartments sustained smoke and water damage in the fire.
