SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - South Dakota is headed back to the tournament.

For the third year in a row the Yotes will appear in the FCS playoffs.

Players, staff, friends, and family gathered in Vermillion this morning.

Seeing if the Coyotes 8-4 record earned a first round home playoff game.

The Yotes will host the Drake Bulldogs on Saturday.

A team the 11 seed is familiar with.

Travis Johansen, USD football’s head coach said, “They’re relatively familiar with us too right? So we’re not going to surprise them with anything. They may surprise us, we’re different teams at this point we played them week three, whatever that was week three or four and now we’re in week 13 or 14 so what does that look like compared to that, we’re two different teams and so are they.
