I am not opposed to putting down a wager for Notre Dame (+180) to win this game outright, but I'm going to play it safe and take the points.

Against the spread

BET NOTRE DAME +4.5 (-105).

I’m on Notre Dame to cover here, and honestly, I think this is a great spot for them. The line moving toward the Irish tells me I’m not alone either. Kansas just looked out of sorts against Duke, especially from the perimeter, and I’m not convinced they’re suddenly going to flip that switch against a disciplined Notre Dame team.

What I like most is how steady the Irish feel. Burton gives them a true go-to scorer, but this isn’t a one-man show. They’ve got multiple guys who can chip in 15+ on any night, and Towt makes life tough inside with his rebounding and physicality. Notre Dame plays under control, shoots the ball well, and does a great job creating second-chance opportunities, which keeps games close even when they’re not perfect.

Kansas is talented, no doubt, but they’re still a little disjointed and not overwhelming on the glass. On a neutral floor, I trust Notre Dame’s balance and efficiency to hang around and make this a tight game all the way through. I’ll gladly take the points with the Irish.

Over/Under

BET UNDER 141.5 (-110).

I’m not seeing a track meet here at all. These are 2 teams that are perfectly fine slowing things down and grinding possessions, especially when facing real competition. Kansas has been Under in 3 straight while Notre Dame has been Under in 2 of their last 3 and neither side has exactly been lighting up the scoreboard against power conference opponents. With the pace likely staying controlled and defenses dictating the flow, I’m leaning Under and feeling pretty comfortable about it.
