All eyes across the NFL were on rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders as he made his first start in the pros on Sunday for the Cleveland Browns . The polarizing son of Pro Football Hall of Famer Deion Sanders didn't exactly play an outstanding game, as he completed 11 of 20 pass attempts and had one touchdown pass and one interception, but he did show some scattered promise.
The Browns won, 24-10, making the younger Sanders the first Browns quarterback to get a victory in his first career start since the current iteration of the franchise began play in 1995. But its fans may have to wait a while before getting to see the University of Colorado Boulder product play again.
