Council bosses have admitted traffic wardens have been unable to issue tickets to drivers who park in front of a bus stop because of a 'signage issue.'
Motorists have been reportedly plonking their cars right in front of the stop opposite McDonald's in Northfield shopping centre without fear of getting a penalty notice.
Meanwhile, passengers have to step into the busy road when the bus arrives because of the vehicles.

Community campaigner Paul Smith spoke to traffic wardens and was told that they were unable to target the offenders because the c ouncil had not "updated their system" to show that tickets could be issued at the spot.
