WELLS — The Escanaba Eskymos split a pair of weekend games as they fell 2-0 to Traverse City West on Friday and rebounded with a 6-0 shutout win over H.H. Dow from Midland on Saturday.

The Titans scored a pair of goals in the second period to earn the win the first goal came with 15:04 to go in the period as Drew Chorland found the back of the net off an assist by Brady Sorenson and it was followed up by a goal by Riley Basile off assists by Hudson Robertson and Robert Councilor.
“We didn’t have a sense of urgency out there tonight,” Eskymos coach Andy Johnson said. “Weren’t jumping the loose pucks I think we had the mindset that we are good and we really needed to be knocked down a step.”
