ATHENS, Ga. — A University of Georgia football player was arrested Sunday and is facing charges including fleeing a police officer and reckless driving.

Jackson County Jail records show offensive lineman Nyier Daniels faces a range of charges, including three felony counts:

Fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer

2x Second degree cruelty to children

Additional misdemeanor charges include reckless driving, maximum limits, 2x stop sign and yield sign violations, no-passing zones, affixing materials that reduce or increase light transmission/reflectance of window, and more.
