DETROIT (WXYZ) — Detroit city officials are expected to announce "transformational changes" to the Detroit Department of Transportation (DDOT) bus system.
According to the city, Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan, DDOT leadership, union leadership, transit advocates and city council members will outline the changes during a press conference on Monday morning.
It comes on the heels of the completion of a $160 million DDOT Coolidge Terminal complex, located near Schoolcraft and Schaefer on the city's west side.
7 News Detroit will update this story as we learn more about the planned "tranformational" changes.
