Bristol City tick all the boxes against Swansea but now face contract and consistency challenge View 2 Images
The international break came at just the right time for Bristol City. We’d looked tired in the last couple of games, and the break afforded the players some time to rest and allowed the extra space needed for a few of the injured players to make a return.
When the team news landed, it was great to see an attacking line-up with both Emil Riis and Sinclair Armstrong named in the starting 11. It was brilliant to see the return of captain Jason Knight, along with long-term absentee Cameron Pring, who made his first matchday squad this season and an unexpected early return for Mark Sykes .
All three made the bench, a bench that, on paper, looked like it could impact the game.
