San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy scrambles out of the pocket against the Arizona Cardinals during an NFL game at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

The Carolina Panthers (6-5) and the San Francisco 49ers (7-4) meet for Monday Night Football at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. ET (ESPN). Let's analyze BetMGM Sportsbook's Panthers vs. 49ers odds and tab the 5 best prop bets to win among SportsbookWire's expert NFL picks and predictions for Week 12.

After a wild Sunday in the NFL, the Panthers can move into sole possession of first place in the NFC South with a victory on Monday. Carolina won 30-27 in overtime at Atlanta last week as a 3.5-point underdog as the Over (41.5) cashed. QB Bryce Young threw for a career-high 448 yards and 3 TDs last weekend against the Falcons.

The 49ers pasted the Arizona Cardinals 41-22 last Sunday as a 3.5-point favorite as the Over (48.5) cashed for the third straight game. QB Brock Purdy threw for 200 yards and with 3 TDs, while RB Christian McCaffrey had 81 rushing yards and 2 scores, while adding 5 receptions for 40 yards and a TD. TE George Kittle also chipped in with 6 receptions, 67 yards and 2 TDs.

49ers QB Brock Purdy UNDER 255.5 PASSING YARDS (-155)

The Panthers passing defense has allowed 2,454 yards, which is rather middle of the road. However, it has conceded 7.2 yards per pass attempt, and that's likely why the target yardage for Purdy is so high from the books.

However, the expectation is that the Niners will rely upon the run game with McCaffrey, and it will take fewer chances through the air. The 49ers should also be winning into the second half, and it might more of a ground-based offensive attack instead of the aerials for Purdy.

MNF: Best ML, ATS and O/U bets

49ers TE George Kittle ANYTIME TOUCHDOWN (+130)

Kittle scored a pair of TDs last week against the Cardinals, and he has scored 3 times in the past 2 games, and 4 times in the past 4 games.

After an injury in Week 1 derailed things a bit, forcing him to the sidelines for 6 weeks, he is back to his normal, productive self. Kittle doesn't have a lot of competition from the wide receivers, either. Look for Kittle or McCaffrey to lead this team in targets.

Panthers RB Rico Dowdle OVER 96.5 RUSH + RECEIVING YARDS (-115) and OVER 17.5 RUSHING ATTEMPTS (-110)

I was bummed out as I was looking for a "Race to 20+ Yards" prop, as I was pumped when Rams WR Puka Nacua was first to 20 receiving yards for us on Sunday night, cashing at +270!

However, we'll go back to the more conventional props for Carolina's top backfield dog. Last week, Dowdle carried 19 times for 45 yards, or just 2.4 yards carry, while totaling 5 receptions for 55 yards on 7 starts. That 100 total scrimmage yards figure would have cashed high here, as well as the carries total.

Dowdle has been averaging 20.7 rushing attempts across the past 3 games while posting combined scrimmage yardage total of 100, 65 and 141 across the previous 3 contests.

Panthers PK Ryan Fitzgerald OVER 1.5 FIELD GOALS (+115)

Kicker props are a lifestyle. Embrace it.

Fitzgerald is a good bet at plus-money to notch at least 2 field goals. The 25-year-old went 3-for-3 on field goals last week in Atlanta, including the game-winning tally.

This takes a bit of a leap of faith, however. Fitz had 10 points last week, but he managed just eight total points in a 3-game stretch from Weeks 9-11. However, across his past 3 road games he has 21 points, or 7.0 points per game, too, and he is 8-for-9 on field goals in the first 6 road contests.
