NEW ORLEANS, La. (WLBT) - The Saints’ struggles in the red zone, third down efficiency, and special team woes were too much to overcome in New Orleans’ loss against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, 24-10.
The Saints now fall to 2-9 on the season, last place in the NFC South.
The Saints finished just 5-of-16 on third down and 2-of-5 on fourth down attempts.
In the red zone, New Orleans could not find a single point in their three possessions inside the 20-yard-line.
Blake Grupe, who has struggled all year, missed two more field goals on Sunday. He missed his first from 38 yards and another just before the half from 47 yards.
