The Boston Red Sox desperately need to make some big moves this offseason, and they are in the perfect position to do so. The Red Sox have a talented roster, but there are a few holes on it, notably at third base after Alex Bregman opted out of his deal.
Bregman's free agency is going to be one of the top storylines of the Red Sox's offseason. He's projected to sign a massive $182 million deal, per Jim Bowden of The Athletic. The Red Sox need to be in on him no matter the cost.
Bleacher Report's Kristopher Knox recently predicted the Red Sox would land Bregman on a new deal in free agency this winter.
