Warner Bros. Discovery is hoping to lock in new and returning HBO Max customers with a one-week Black Friday promotion.

Beginning Monday, eligible subscribers can sign up for HBO Max’s Basic With Ads plan with a special Black Friday offer of $2.99 per month for the first 12 months, which is a discount of 73% off the regular price of $10.99 per month. After the promotional period expires, the rates will go back to the standard price.

The limited-time offer is available through next Monday, Dec. 1, 2025, for new and returning subscribers on HBOMax.com, Apple, Google Play, Roku, Samsung, Xumo and “additional select partners,” and for new HBO Max customers only on Amazon Fire TV.
