Suffolk and Essex farmers have been delighted at the public support as they took their tractors through Ipswich today before heading on to the Port of Felixstowe.

They are protesting against government plans to impose farm inheritance tax on them from April next year.

With the Budget Day looming on Wednesday they are fighting to get their voice heard - with more than 90 tractors heading through town.

They took a symbolic tour of both of Suffolk's docks to highlight how UK farm produce is being undermined by cheap imports, they said.
