Despite the chilly weather, a "brilliant" day was held in Ipswich with crowds of people attendings a winter street market featuring Highland cattle, a number of stalls and a flash mob.

The Saints Street Market was held on Sunday with 35 stalls setting up and businesses in St Peter's Street and St Nicholas Street serving customers throughout the day.

The event has been a popular feature in the Ipswich calendar for more than 15 years.

Organiser Cathy Frost, who owns Loveone on St Peter's Street, said: "It was a brilliant day.

"Despite the weather, the set up was very windy and wet which was a challenge for all of us, it was probably the worst in 15 years, but credit to everyone for making the day what it was.
