MARTINSBURG – Dozens of community members packed into downtown Martinsburg on Thursday for the annual Jingle Downtown fundraiser, rallying volunteers and local businesses to make sure local children have a brighter Christmas while drawing shoppers into the city’s small businesses.
Now nearing its 20th year, the event has become a classic for downtown Martinsburg, typically bringing in more than $2,000 for the Christmas Catcher Kids program. Organizers said the money directly supports hundreds of children each year, helping families who may struggle during the holidays.
