SAGINAW, MI — Two shootings in Saginaw over the weekend have left three people hospitalized. A separate incident involving gunfire led to three juveniles’ arrests.

At 2 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 21, a 32-year-old man arrived at Covenant HealthCare suffering from a gunshot wound to his neck, said Michigan State Police Lt. Kim Vetter. The man’s vehicle was perforated by numerous bullet holes, she added.

The wounded man claimed he had recently left a bar on State Street when an unknown party opened fire on him near the intersection of Cooper Avenue and Brenner Street, Vetter said.

About 48 hours later on Sunday, Nov. 23, police responded to reported gunfire at Bridgton Place Townhomes on Vestry Drive in Saginaw, Vetter said. Witnesses indicated they had seen three males running through the comp
