SWAT spent several hours on Monday negotiating with an armed individual who has since been taken into custody following a barricade incident, according to the Titusville Police Department.
Julius Castellon, 22, refused to exit the residence near the 4400 block of Gray Avenue.
TPD said he was threatening family members with a gun.
Law enforcement was able to safely get the family out of the home, but Castellon refused to come out.
After three hours on the phone negotiating, police say Castellon eventually came outside with his hands up.
No one was injured.
Neighbors say the SWAT team was there before 10 a.m., and the neighborhood was shut down for the majority of the day.
According to police, Castellon is being charged with aggravated assault with a firearm and possession of a firear
