A contemporary adaptation of Louisa May Alcott’s classic 19th-century novel by award-winning playwright and actor Kate Hamill, this iteration of Little Women promises to bring “fresh relevance” to the well-known story, Theatre Woodstock officials said. Article content Article content

“Even though this story is set a couple of hundred years ago, the struggles and triumphs of the March family are not so dissimilar to the challenges facing us today,” said Lenore Butcher, the play’s director.

“Audience members will see themselves in the family members and the obstacles they attempt to surmount.”
