GULFPORT, Miss. (WLOX) - Fourteen vendors filled the area outside Chillville Creamery in Gulfport on Sunday for the fourth annual Art and Ice Cream Fest.

The festival provided an opportunity for local artists to display their creations while connecting with the community at the popular ice cream shop.

“It gets people out and about to look at all the local artists’ stuff and get a sweet treat at the same time,” said Haley Bell, the General Manager of Chillville Creamery.

Bell said the event reflects the business’s commitment to supporting local crafters.

“We want to keep everything as local as we can,” said Bell. “We are a locally owned business, so we always like to partner up with other locals and just kind of play off of each other, so we benefit from it, and they benefit from it.”
