Voting is free. The winner will be announced Nov. 28. Here are this week’s nominees:

Hanif Miller, Middletown: Junior rushed for 103 yards and a touchdown in a 28-20 victory over Appoquinimink in the Class 3A semifinals.

Odell Teel, Salesianum: Senior rushed for 43 yards and a touchdown, had three tackles for loss and batted down a pass in a 43-20 win over Smyrna in the Class 3A semifinals.

Maxwell Laznik, Newark Charter: Junior returned an interception for a 32-yard touchdown in a 35-0 win over Brandywine in the Class 1A semifinals. Need a news break? Check out the all new
