BOWLING GREEN — The Wood County mass notification services vendor has notified the county EMA that it is unable to issue alerts after being affected by a cybersecurity incident, the agency announced Monday.
CodeRED has warned its customers that “certain contact information of individuals using its system may have been released during the incident,” according to a release.
This information may include a user’s name, address, email address, phone number, and CodeRED user password. People using their CodeRED password for other personal or business accounts, should change them “promptly,” the release said.
