Toledo police on Monday arrested a Fulton County man for the Nov. 10 robbery of a Reynolds Road bank.
Daniel A. Schaffer, 45, of Delta, Ohio, was arrested at his home after Toledo police, with the assistance of the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office, served a search warrant at his residence. He was charged with aggravated robbery, a first degree felony, in connection with the robbery of the South Toledo bank.
Just before 5 p.m. on Nov. 10, Mr. Shaffer entered the PNC Bank at 4 S. Reynolds Rd. and passed a teller a note saying that he was robbing the bank. He then showed the teller a pistol in his waistband and said “don’t make me use this,” according to court records.
The teller complied, then Mr. Shaffer fled on a bicycle.
