Both umbrellas and winter boots will be needed for anyone heading outside in Ontario this week, as rain showers tomorrow will turn to snow flurries midweek, Environment and Climate Change Canada said.
And if you’re in the typical snow belt areas, be prepared for snow squalls, blowing snow and weather alerts, with “significant” amounts anticipated.
Before the flurries arrive across the province, Monday, Nov. 24 is expected to be sunny and above-seasonal.
Sunny across most of Ontario Monday
“It’s a pretty nice start to the week across southern and Eastern Ontario,” warning preparedness meteorologist Geoff Coulson told Metroland Media. “Temperatures are well above normal.”
Most areas will see sunshine; however, parts of eastern Ontario can expect some cloud cover as well, Coulson said.
