Purdue basketball retained the No. 1 spot in the AP Poll in the new rankings released Monday. The Boilermakers occupied the top spot for the second week in a row and third time in four weeks this season.
Coach Matt Painter's team received 46 of a possible 61 No. 1 votes, with Arizona jumping up two spots to No. 2 and receiving 11 votes for the top slot. No. 3 Houston received the other five votes for No. 1.
