Since the end of World War II our nation’s gross national product has risen on average 4.3% per year under Democratic presidents and only 2.5% per year under Republican presidents. The difference is even bigger when it comes to job creation. Since 1945, 72% of all newly created jobs came under Democratic leadership and 28% under Republicans.
