Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services (LFES) says it was called out to two different fires this past weekend.

The first was at 10:15 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 21, on the 400 block of 10 Street North.

Firefighters say a large fire had spread to the exterior of a nearby building, but they were able to stop it from extending further into the structure.

Damages are still being assessed, and the cause remains under investigation.

The second fire took place on the 1600 block of 15 Avenue South at approximately 5:15 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 23.

The fire spread from a garage to the home.

Two residents were safely evacuated.

The cause of the fire is still being investigated, and damage estimates are pending.
