WOOD COUNTY, Ohio. ( WTVG /Gray News) - A school district is taking action after finding two lists labeled “Kill List” and “Death Note” at an elementary school in Ohio.
School staff members said they were made aware of concerns about a student who has been journaling on the bus.
The lists were created by a student at Otsego Elementary School.
The student allegedly had a list of fourth- and fifth-graders who were described as being “zip-tied in a basement and harmed.”
During the investigation, staff said the lists were titled “Kill List” and “Death Note.”
Both lists included other students’ names.
A review by the threat assessment team determined there was no credible threat and that no students were in danger, according to the district.
