Two Dorchester residents are behind bars in lieu of $100,000 bail each after they were indicted Friday on a charge of manslaughter for the death of their five-week-old daughter in January - from fentanyl and cocaine poisoning on top of the malnutrition and bacterial infection she was already suffering - the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports.
According to the DA's office, Raynell Reed, 31, gave birth at home on Dec. 5 - two months earlier than the initial due date, and only some two months after she learned she was pregnant. The father was her partner, Gerard Winn, 52.
