CHICAGO (WLS) -- A judge granted a preliminary injunction late Friday in the city of Chicago's lawsuit against the Trump administration over the holdup in giving out emergency preparedness funding.
Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson's administration filed the federal lawsuit against President Donald Trump's administration, alleging that the Department of Homeland Security tied longstanding funding that pays for cybersecurity tools, hazmat suits, first responder salaries and more to "unlawful conditions" outlawing the city's "diversity, equity and inclusion" efforts.
