HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Damage has been reported after an apparent tornado touchdown in the Klein area of northwest Harris County on Monday.

Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez tells KPRC 2 about reports they received of a possible tornado near Mills and Perry Road.

Reports were also received from nearby Chasewood and Vintage Preserve of a possible tornado.

Damage was also reported from what appears to have been a tornado just southeast of Spring Cypress Road and Highway 249. Power is reportedly out in the area of Creekfield and Stuebner Airline Road.

In the 9000 block of Bayou Bluff Drive, damage to the roof of a home was also reported. Sheriff Gonzalez said everyone inside the home was able to escape without injury.
