Calmer weather is in store for Thanksgiving week.
Sunshine and above average temperatures will be the main story starting on Monday.
High pressure settles in tracking dry air to bring on the sunshine. Temperatures will start this week in the upper 50s for highs and overnight lows right around freezing throughout the region.
Sunshine will help warm temperatures reach 60s for Thanksgiving.
Winds will remain calm this week allowing valley inversions to strengthen which will reduce air quality with chances to see some haze.
By Thanksgiving day high pressure will bring the warmest temperatures on Wednesday and Thursday before a front tracks in Thursday evening dropping temperatures this weekend.
