OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - A student brought a handgun to Beadle Middle School today, according to Millard Public Schools officials.
In a letter to parents, the school’s principal said a student made a “very poor decision” but added that the gun was not loaded and the child did not have any bullets.
The principal said the school immediately responded by bringing in their school resource officer, along with additional police.
According to the school, they are continuing their investigation and the school day continued as normal.
