Education Quality and Accountability Office (EQAO) standardized test results are set to be released next week after a delay.
Results from the math and literacy testing are normally released earlier in the fall.
But Ontario Education Minister Paul Calandra said he wanted to take a deep dive this year before making them public.
He has also suggested that some changes may be coming.
The test results typically come out in late September or early October.
John Fraser, parliamentary leader of the Ontario Liberal Party, said last week he wonders why the test results have been delayed and whether the minister was "hiding" something.
“There is no reason for him to withhold those tests,” Fraser had said.
