Toronto’s race to the skies reached new heights last week, when a skyline-transforming mega-tower became the first building in the country to reach 100 floors.
The sky-scraping Pinnacle SkyTower is rapidly closing in on a final 106-storey height, and will soon lay claim to the title of Canada’s tallest building with an immense height of almost 352 metres — as tall as the CN Tower’s main observation level .
With the tower now above the 300-metre mark, becoming Canada’s second “supertall” skyscraper, developer Pinnacle International hosted media atop the new landmark on Friday to mark a ceremonial concrete pour for the building’s 100th floor — a momentous milestone for towering condominium development.
