DETROIT — East Jordan Middle School’s Shoe Club students had the opportunity to design custom cleats for Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown, which he wore during November 23rd’s game against the New York Giants.

The St. Brown Foundation invited the Shoe Club to the Lions practice facility before the My Cause My Cleats game, allowing students to meet St. Brown and design a cleat for him to wear on the field.

“The fact that Amon-Ra would invite my students down to the Detroit Lions practice facility to meet with them and entrust them to design a cleat for him that he’ll actually wear in a game is just incredible,” said Matt Hamilton, founder of Shoe Club Nation.
