WILLIAMSBURG — An 83-year-old woman from Morrisburg succumbed to the injuries she sustained in a multi-vehicle collision on County Road 31 on Friday afternoon. Article content

SDG OPP released details on Monday afternoon, saying officers responded to a collision between a car and tractor-trailer on County Road 31 between county roads 18 and 7 shortly before 3:30 p.m. That stretch of roadway lies just north of the Village of Williamstown. Article content

The woman was driving the car at the time of the collision and was transported from the scene to hospital with life-threatening injuries. She was pronounced deceased at the hospital. OPP said the driver of the other vehicle was not injured.
