Oregon State men’s basketball is the loser of four straight games after falling 73-65 to UMass on Monday at the Paradise Jam tournament.
The Beavers (3-4) fell apart down the stretch once again in the Virgin Islands, allowing the Minutemen (4-3) to go on a 10-0 run to end the game. OSU finished eighth out of eight teams in the tournament as a result.
UMass got a game-high 24 points from Daniel Sanford-Hankins, and the Beavers were led by Malcolm Christie with 17 points on 4 of 9 from three.
OSU allowed 17 offensive rebounds for the Minutemen and turned the ball over 16 times in the loss. Josiah Lake II played through an ankle injury to score 11 points and grab six rebounds, while Yaak Yaak missed his third straight game due to injury.
